Figfilm is the trading name for me, Matthew Norman. Film maker, artist and photographer. I am based in Manchester, England. I have worked with bands such as Doves, Elbow, Starsailor, Rebelski, Lamb, Oceansize, The Distillers, Graham Massey/Toolshed, Snow Patrol and Kaiser Chiefs. I am a member of the superb Soup Collective. I have made films for Urbis and with local community art groups. I also spearhead a campaign for the opening of a Museum of the History of Music in Greater Manchester. My photographs have been used by music industry trade magazines and musical equipment manufacturers as well as on record sleeves. My artwork is created solely on my computer.
